Entites got you down? Can't find the magic pot? Can't remember which of the three hundred and eighty-four entries it was that briefly mentioned Balthier's backstory? Don't want to kill that one Garif six times? Step right up!
Let it be known that nothing on this page belongs to the webmaster. I do not know who wrote the original text of FF12's bestiary entries; the game booklet doesn't seem to give writing credit for the original Japanese as such, though this information would be greatly appreciated should you wish to pass it along. The English translation was done by the immensely talented Joseph Reeder and Alexander O. Smith, to both of whom we owe our current high standards of video game localization. No longer must we toil under Daravons and Knowlespoles! There is a better way!
The transcription of the bestiary was done by members of the LiveJournal community clan_primer; some very serious typing was performed by LJ users angstfairy, annwyd, beeblebabe, chirachira, coloredink, fabulous_papaya, hebiserpens, jameva, and norkia. Game text here is reproduced without permission and without any intent of profit, but through some considerable work, so please do not take the fruit of their effort and claim it as your own.
